16 weeks down, 24 to go!

Photography Pictures, Images and Photos

It's photog time!

Starting this week even though I'm already at 16 weeks I'll be cataloging "the look," the baby bump look anyway! Hopefully by the end of this next year I'll have the cutest growing belly movie :)

In about two weeks I'm set up for a round of prenatal tests and hopefully baby t-rex will let us know if she's a she or if he's a he! It's so funny b/c everyone's first question is "What do I want it to be?" and really i'll be happy either way. A princess would allow me the freedom to indulge in ballet classes, slumber parties, buying a ton of girly paisley decor oh an french braids and play dates....two of us to drive daddy & abuelo gaga...I could on and on! But of course my young little prince would also allow me to indulge in being the cheering mom at all his baseball games, track meets and martial arts competitions. Boys look soooo adorable and grown up in any uniform! And as most would say a boy is a mom's best companion and easier to keep close than a developing girl...lol. but I mean it, either would make me so happy.

I swear like most woman I've dreamt since I was at least 6 of how great getting married, having a mansion, convertible & a family of my own would be. And now 20 yrs later the dreams are realized! Thank you God, for you know what you do and in the order you do it.

feeling a little nostalgic and elated right now...I guess that's my cue to use the energy for work at the office!

this is the thing...

BABY ROCKER Pictures, Images and Photos

last year at exactly this same time I can't believe where I was compared to where I am now. The wounds aren't fully healed and sure my heart isn't completely open but I cannot, will not, complain for the greatness that has emerged from such tragedy that is the end of a marriage. As opposed to living alone in a beautiful townhouse with my dog wondering when or if my husband would come home, today I am living in my own apartment with an amazing boyfriend that makes me laugh and just knows when the right moment to be my knight. We're expecting greatness and look forward to the reaping the benefits of our labor. Like I tell myself all the time, patience is a virtue and with a little self control success is inevitable. :)
